Players at online casinos like the excitement of pursuing progressive jackpots because they know that every spin could result in a prize pot, often worth millions of dollars, that increases each time a player plays a slot machine or game without taking home the biggest payment. Every wager contributes a tiny portion to the pot.
According to BetMGM, in 2025, it gave US$122.1 million in progressive prizes to gamblers at online casinos. A Michigan player's $897,928 jackpot win on a $8 spin on Bison Fury in late December of 2025 marked the culmination of everything.
