A well-known sex worker was apprehended this month after she reportedly took a designer watch from a man residing at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
Koncina Brisbon, 30, allegedly encountered the man at the Bleau Bar of the hotel around 3:15 a.m. on May 19. She settled next to him, teased, and made contact. An hour later, police stated that she added something to his drink while he was not paying attention.
A little while later, the man and Brisbon visited the hotel front desk, where he signed up for an additional room.
The couple ascended the stairs while clasping hands. They shared a kiss in an elevator, and several hours later the man awoke in the second room to discover that Brisbon was missing. His $125,000 Rolex, $2,000 in cash, and $500 in casino chips had vanished as well. He possessed a hazy memory of the events that occurred.
The man had been lodging in a different room of the same Las Vegas Strip hotel with his wife. She woke up to discover he wasn't in their room and contacted hotel security. They informed her that he had booked two rooms.
According to Las Vegas TV station KLAS, security guards accompanied the wife to the second room where he was discovered fully dressed.
The man wasn't particularly helpful when officers questioned him and asserted that he and Brisbon never talked about sex.
After an inquiry that involved officers examining hotel surveillance footage, Brisbon was pinpointed as a suspect. On November 8, she was charged with burglary and theft exceeding $100,000.
This week, the Las Vegas Review-Journal stated that sources from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) labeled Brisbon as a frequent “trick roller.” That's when a suspected sex worker takes money or valuable items from an individual.
According to the Review-Journal, she faced arrest 16 times from 2021 to 2024 on charges related to prostitution. These consist of offenses like trespassing, soliciting, prostitution, and grand theft, as reported by KLAS.
"She (has) multiple previous arrests with similar details to this current case where she meets a male at a bar, they have drinks, they go up to a hotel room, the male falls asleep only to wake up and find their Rolex watches and US currency missing,” LVMPD sources told the Review-Journal.
Earlier this year, Brisbon faced charges for stealing additional Rolex watches. On September 18, she entered a not guilty plea to those charges. A court trial for these accusations is set for April 28, 2025.
